This unit examines philosophy of social research focusing on interpretive inquiry. Students will learn to gather information in naturalistic settings and engage in making meaning from observations and information. Research ethics in social work practice will underpin the unit. Students will develop critical reflexivity and positioning as researchers. Research and its relevance to social work practice are central to this unit. -- Course Website
